From Thane to Mantralaya
A Legacy of Loyalty
Balasaheb : “This Maharashtra is mine, and upholding the self-respect of this Maharashtra is my only duty!”
The story began at ‘Matoshree,’ where the Hindu Hriday Samrat, Balasaheb Thackeray, sowed the seeds of an ideology. But it was Anand Dighe who turned that ideology into a ‘Dharamveer’ (Protector of Dharma) in the lanes of Thane.
Anand Dighe: “Shiv Sena is not just a party; Shiv Sena is a family. And even if we have to shed blood for this family, we will never step back!”
The most loyal soldier of Anand Dighe Saheb, who lived the tradition of Dighe Saheb’s ‘Janata Darbar’—that was Eknath Shinde. Dighe Saheb taught him that politics isn’t just for power; it is for the service of society.
Times changed, and challenges evolved. When it appeared that the movement was drifting from its original principles, Eknath Shinde initiated a transition, mirroring the principles of standing against perceived injustice that were central to the foundation of the ideology.
Eknath Shinde : “This is not a betrayal; this is a revolution. We are the successors of Balasaheb’s thoughts, and the teachings of Dighe Saheb are in our blood.”
Today, the leadership has shifted, but the mission remains centered on the ‘True Shiv Sena.’ With the vision of Balasaheb and the dedication of Dighe Saheb, the responsibility to carry this legacy forward now rests with Eknath Shinde.
Jai Maharashtra! The saffron flag is the pride, and Shiv Sena is the lifeblood!
